Midde East - coastal and desert ecosystems
We can undertake baseline ecological surveys of coastal and desert habitats in the Gulf region or other parts of the Middle East and prepare impact assessments, mitigation plans and other reports as required.

John Norton travelled to north-west Saudi Arabia between 1988 and 1990 to monitor breeding and wintering Houbara Bustards and later worked on ecological projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE in 1991/92 and 1994/95. John Norton ecology has carried out ecological assessments of gas installations at Ras Laffan and Mesaieed, Qatar in 1998, 2003 and 2004 and in 2006 undertook ecological appraisals for a number of development projects in Dubai, UAE.
