We specialise in lowland habitats and vascular plant flora, particularly coastal, woodland, heathland, grassland, wetland and urban vegetation, but also have subcontractors experienced in the study of upland vegetation, bryophytes and lichens. John Norton serves on the committee of the Hampshire Flora Group, which organises recording and botanical training for amateur botanists across the county. Together with other local botanists he is currently making detailed studies of the flora of Gosport (one of the richest remaining parts of the county outside the New Forest) for a future publication. |
